pCon on the move – An ORGATEC 2026 flashback
Four days in Cologne offered a change of pace for the pCon team. Across the exhibition halls, the focus shifted from routine tasks to face-to-face chats, live demonstrations and a closer look at what is shaping the future of workplace and interior design. And there was much more happening than what met the eye at our stand.
Ideas in motion
A trade fair is at its best when interactions happen naturally. And there was certainly no shortage of them at ORGATEC. Architects, interior designers, planners and furniture manufacturers stopped by to see what pCon has to offer. That curiosity opened the door to a whole range of things to explore. From accessing an extensive catalog of configurable furniture by leading brands to planning creative interior concepts and streamlining quotation workflows, we demonstrated how our solutions connect the dots across the entire process, from the first product idea to the finished project.
The pace changed from one day to the next. Busy periods brought quick and spontaneous exchanges, while quieter moments allowed us to dive deeper into individual projects, questions, and ideas.
The future of planning takes centre stage
Curiosity around pCon.planner next was one of the highlights of the week. Its new approach to digital design gave us plenty to showcase at the stand, and the conversation did not stop there.
Under the title Re:Space – Reimagining existing spaces: refurbishing digitally, we gave three talks at Koelnmesse and at Design Post, just a short walk from the fairgrounds. Each one showed how pCon.planner next helps unlock the potential of existing interiors, from BIM/IFC workflows to AI-powered visualization. Complex building data becomes a practical starting point for creative decisions, so planners can rethink existing spaces and bring fresh ideas to life.

The people behind the moments
ORGATEC was a welcome chance to step away from emails and video calls and meet in person. We caught up with furniture manufacturers and design professionals we work with throughout the year and met many new faces who were discovering pCon for the first time. These conversations are what give our partnerships real depth.
It was also a special week for our own team. Colleagues from nine countries came together in Cologne, supported each other at the stand, and swapped impressions between demos. And once the halls closed, there was time to slow down and enjoy the evening together. Weeks like this remind us how much we gain from working as an international team: different backgrounds, one shared goal.
