AI images on the go – pCon.box 3.21 is here
With the latest release, a lot has changed – and for many users, the highlight of this release will undoubtedly be the new AI Image Studio. With just a few clicks, simple product configurations and planning projects can be transformed into professional, photorealistic images that take your presentations to the next level.
Create stunning presentations in seconds instead of hours
Make a lasting impression on your customers: With the new AI Image Studio, you can create high-quality, professional renderings directly in pCon.box from your initial planning drafts. Instead of spending hours manually refining your designs, you can now make your ideas more realistic, atmospheric, and compelling with just a few clicks.
Showcase your products skillfully, because even the best design only truly sells itself when customers can imagine what the space would look like in real life. AI is no longer just a tool for the final presentation – it becomes a valuable resource throughout the entire planning and design process.
It is that easy:
- Select a project: Upload your own image or choose one from your project gallery.
- Enter a prompt (optional): Describe the changes you would like to make in your own words – for example, the lighting, style, or image composition.
- Choose an AI model and resolution: Select from the powerful AI models Nano Banana 2 Lite, Nano Banana 2, and Nano Banana Pro. Then define the resolution (1K, 2K, or 4K) and aspect ratio.
- Select an image style: Choose a visual style – Photorealistic, Sketch, Comic, or no style filter at all.
- Set the environment: Place your product in an office or outdoor setting, create a product shoot, or keep the current view.
- Save your result: Download the generated image directly or add it to your project gallery.
To enable this feature: To use AI Image Studio, you need an account with the external AI service provider for OpenRouter. Further information about this and the one-time activation of the new feature can be found in our onboarding guide.
Good to know: Catalog access reorganized
With pCon.box 3.21, catalog access for users who are not logged in has been restructured.
Public catalogs are now available exclusively through pCon.catalog. This also includes the previously separate catalogs, which could previously be accessed without logging in or requiring manufacturer approval. As a result, users will now find all publicly available catalogs conveniently bundled in one central location.
To ensure a smooth transition, an onboarding message will alert non-logged-in existing users of this change the first time they open pCon.box after updating.
As part of this update, the list views have also been redesigned to provide a clearer and more intuitive experience:
- pCon.login users will now find their previous item list under Lists, divided into the categories Articles (all articles) and Models (the complete collection of all models). Articles can still be exported as PDF, Excel, OBK, or OBX, or transferred directly to pCon.basket. Models remain available for export as PDF and Excel.
- Non-logged-in users will instead see the Models list, with download and email options for PDF and Excel.
- The OBK and OBX export formats are now available exclusively to logged-in users.
Available as a web app or mobile app
With the integration of the new AI Image Studio, pCon.box becomes an even more powerful companion, available whenever and wherever you need it – whether you are in the office or on the go with your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
